Curie Money, a fintech platform, has raised $1.2 million in seed funding from India Quotient, with support from other institutional and angel investors in the fintech space.
Funding Utilisation
The funds will be used to grow the team, improve products, upgrade technology, and expand into new markets, focusing on current accounts and services for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
Arindam Ghosh, Co-founder of Curie Money, said, “This funding is a testament to the market need for an integrated solution that combines the high returns of mutual funds with the convenience of banking.With the support of India Quotient and our investors, we are well positioned to redefine personal finance and expand our reach.”

Ghosh explained that Curie Money aims to solve a major personal finance issue in India by offering higher returns than traditional savings accounts while keeping users' funds easily accessible. The company has partnered with Yes Bank to provide zero-balance savings accounts and ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund for fixed-income mutual fund options. It has also received approval from NPCI to function as a third-party app, allowing users to make UPI transactions directly through the Curie Money app.
