The new funding will help FS Life expand its offline presence. The company plans to double its retail stores—currently five across Mumbai, Pune, and Delhi NCR—within the next six months, and aims to open over 100 stores in the next three years.

Fashion Brand FS Life raises Rs 50 Cr in funding round

Women-focused fashion brand FS Life, the parent company of FableStreet and Pink Fort, has raised INR 50 crore ($5.6 million) in funding led by Colossa Ventures and Rahul Garg, founder of IGNITE Growth LLP.

The round also saw participation from existing investors Fireside Ventures and Mirabilis Investment Trust.

The new funding will help FS Life expand its offline presence. The company plans to double its retail stores—currently five across Mumbai, Pune, and Delhi NCR—within the next six months, and aims to open over 100 stores in the next three years.

“I started FableStreet with the aim of making every woman feel special and confident through what she wore. While the journey has had its ups and downs in the last 9 years of operating the business, it is this north star and customer love which has kept us going,” said, Ayushi Gudwani, founder & CEO of FS Life.

Founded in 2016 by Ayushi Gudwani, FS Life is a women’s fashion and lifestyle company that owns brands like FableStreet, March Jewellery, and Pinkfort. 

FableStreet offers western wear designed for perfect fits, March specializes in sterling silver and semi-precious jewellery, and Pinkfort creates modern Indian wear with a contemporary twist on traditional styles.

The startup, now close to operational break-even, said its stores start generating returns within 18 months of opening. It is currently operating at a revenue run rate of INR 160 crore.

The funding comes at a time when indian D2C brands increasingly focus on omnichannel strategies. While online sales are growing, most consumers in india still prefer shopping in physical stores, prompting FS Life to expand its offline presence.
