The funds will be used to grow the team, invest in R&D, improve tech-driven quality systems, and increase the number of rural women entrepreneurs ("Didis") from 2,000 to over 5,000 in the coming years.

“FarmDidi was built on the belief that the food from our grandmothers’ kitchens could also empower thousands of women. With this funding, we will strengthen our R&D, scale our women-led micro-units, and continue to give consumers access to traceable, tested, and authentic homemade food. Our vision is to make FarmDidi a household name while creating sustainable livelihoods at scale,” said Manjari Sharma, CEO of FarmDidi.

"FarmDidi is not just about food; it’s a proof point that purpose driven businesses can scale with strong consumer trust and quality first principles. We see this becoming a household brand across India and globally," said, Shanti Mohan, Founder of LetsVenture.

Pickles, a staple of Indian kitchens and family traditions, are close to many hearts. FarmDidi brings this nostalgia to life by helping rural women make small-batch, fresh pickles without chemicals or preservatives, while using modern quality systems to meet today’s standards.
