FAE Beauty raises $2 Mn in Pre-series A round

FAE Beauty, a D2C beauty brand has raised Rs 17 crore in a pre-series A funding round led by Spring Marketing Capital.

The round also saw participation from existing investors Titan Capital Winners Fund, Arihant Patni and several angels.

The brand plans to utilise the newly raised funds to strengthen its D2C presence and accelerate the expansion of its offline retail network.

“Going ahead, we plan to double down on product innovation, launch new face-forward categories, and strengthen our omni-channel presence across marketplaces, quick commerce, and offline retail," Karishma Kewalramani, Founder & CEO of FAE Beauty.

Founded by UC Berkeley alum and makeup artist Karishma Kewalramani, FAE Beauty specialises in colour cosmetics designed specifically for Indian skin tones and undertones. Its flagship products—Lip Whip, Lush Blush, and Eye Deal Kajal—address the gap in shade inclusivity while delivering strong performance benefits. Each formulation incorporates skincare-led features such as long-wear finishes, hydration, and anti-pigmentation ingredients to meet the evolving expectations of Indian beauty consumers.

The brand has seen significant traction among millennial and Gen Z audiences and is currently available on Amazon, myntra, Tira, nykaa, Blinkit, and its own direct-to-consumer platform. While FAE Beauty has scaled primarily through its lip and eye categories, it has recently expanded into face products, including skin tints, to broaden its portfolio.
