Event Planet Technologies raises $250K in angle round

Event Planet Technologies, a global event and wedding aggregator platform has raised $250,000 in angel funding round from USA-based serial investor and NRI, Virendra Prasad, valuing the startup at Rs 30 crore.

The latest investment will support the startup’s next stage of growth as it enters new markets and improves its unique package-based model, which helps users plan events more easily around the world.

“This investment supports our mission to make event planning simpler, smarter, and more transparent,” said Rohit Yagya, Founder & CEO, Event Planet Technologies.

“Event planning has long been an unorganized space filled with uncertainty. We’re transforming this space by building a trusted digital ecosystem that makes event planning as simple as booking a vacation.

With this new round of funding, Event Planet will expand its vendor network across India and key global destinations, upgrade its technology platform to enhance automation and personalisation, and launch marketing initiatives targeting destination event markets across South Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. 

“Event Planet has created a completely new space in the event industry,” said Virendra Prasad. “Their package model delivers great value to customers and supports the vendor ecosystem with a scalable, tech-first approach.”

Founded in 2024 by Rohit Yagya, Lucknow-based Event Planet helps people plan and book celebrations through clear, ready-made or customised packages. It works with verified vendors and selected venues to offer complete event solutions for weddings, birthdays and corporate events. The platform now operates in 32 cities across India and 8 markets abroad.
