Abhishek Dwivedi, co-founder and COO of EVeez, added: "With India projected to have more than 20 million gig workers in the near future, EVeez is strategically positioned to revolutionize how this workforce accesses clean mobility solutions. We are committed to greening the last mile and making electric mobility accessible to everyone participating in the gig economy."
About EVeez
Co-founded in 2020 by Abhishek Dwivedi and Gaurav Rathore, the Gurugram-based EVeez is making electric mobility more accessible for gig workers in India. Through a weekly subscription starting at just ₹1,100, it offers affordable and reliable two-wheeler EVs without the need for upfront ownership.
Targeted especially at low-income youth, EVeez supports those working in delivery, e-commerce, and ride-hailing platforms. Its all-in-one model includes insurance, repairs, battery swap partnerships, and EV training—so gig workers can focus on earning, not on managing costs or breakdowns.
EVeez currently runs a fleet of 7,000 electric two-wheelers across 15 cities and plans to expand to 30 cities with 50,000 vehicles by FY27. Interestingly, 55% of its users are first-time gig workers, while the remaining 45% have shifted from petrol-run vehicles.
By FY27, EVeez aims to help over 40,000 new gig workers kickstart their careers in the gig economy.
