EPACK Prefab Raises $20Mn In Its First Funding Round

EPACK Prefab, a company specializing in pre-engineered buildings (PEBs) and prefabricated structures, has raised $20 million in its first funding round from GEF Capital Partners, a global private equity firm.

EPACK Prefab, a company specializing in pre-engineered buildings (PEBs) and prefabricated structures, has raised $20 million in its first funding round from GEF Capital Partners, a global private equity firm.

Funding utilization 

The company said the new funding will help expand its manufacturing facilities in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh; Ghiloth, Rajasthan; and Mambattu, Andhra Pradesh.These plants can produce about 133,924 metric tonnes each year.

The funds will mainly be used to upgrade equipment, increase production, and launch new products.The firm also plans to grow its presence in india and explore international markets.

Sanjay Singhania, Managing Director of EPACK Prefab, said, “This funding strengthens our resolve to revolutionise construction practices by delivering innovative, sustainable and rapid building solutions. This milestone energizes us to set new benchmarks for the industry.”

Nikhel Bothra, Executive Director of EPACK Prefab, said, “This funding empowers us to invest further in cutting-edge technologies and expand our footprint while maintaining a strong focus on sustainability."

Krishnan Ganesan, managing director at GEF Capital Partners., said, "Modular construction is integral to decarbonizing the construction sector and enhancing climate resilience.These technologies have a lower greenhouse gas footprint while providing higher design efficiency.”

The company said that it set a record by building India’s fastest structure in just 150 hours, highlighting the efficiency of prefabricated construction. The company also aims to grow its presence across India and explore international markets.
