Eggoz, a tech-enabled egg supply chain startup, has raised $20 million in a Series C funding round led by Gaja Capital, with continued support from existing investors including IvyCap Ventures, Rebright Partners, Avaana Capital, Nabventures, and Merisis Opportunities Fund. The round also saw participation from prominent individuals such as Arvind Thakur, S. Ramadorai, and investment entities like Artek Chemicals and Blue Dot Capital.
Founded in 2017 by Abhishek Negi, Aditya Singh, and Uttam Kumar, all IIT Kharagpur alumni, Eggoz is working to transform India’s highly fragmented egg market, where over 90% of eggs are sold loose and unbranded. By focusing on quality, hygiene, and traceability, the company aims to build consumer trust and redefine egg consumption habits in the country.
Eggoz operates on a tech-driven, asset-light model, sourcing eggs directly from farmers. The fresh funding will be deployed to deepen its presence in existing markets, expand to new cities, and invest in technology and supply chain infrastructure to ensure end-to-end quality and freshness.
The company has reported strong financial growth, with a 76% year-on-year revenue increase, reaching Rs 130 crore in FY25, up from Rs 74 crore in FY24. Eggoz also achieved EBITDA breakeven in Q4 FY25 and reported a peak brand annual recurring revenue (ARR) of Rs 200 crore.
With rising demand for branded and traceable food products, Eggoz is positioning itself as a key player in India’s evolving agri-tech and food supply landscape.
