Drone tech startup Enercomp secures Rs 2 Cr in bridge round

Enercomp Solutions, a drone tech startup, has raised Rs 2 crore in a bridge round led by angel investors.

The funding round was guided by Bestvantage Investments, a firm that helps fast-growing startups find strategic investors in India and the Middle East.

The proceeds will be used to grow manufacturing, improve AI-based drone software and boost delivery capacity for large national projects.

Enercomp also plans to invest Rs 8 crore over the next year to strengthen its technology, products and execution.

About Enercomp 

Established in 2013 by Jatin Patel, the Ahmedabad-based Enercomp works at the crossroads of hardware, software, and services. It offers in-house drone manufacturing, Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS), and its own GIS analytics platform.

The company has built seven types of drones, including VTOL, fixed-wing, and surveillance models, which are already in use for commercial and government projects.

About 70% of its revenue comes from product sales, with clients like Tata Projects, Reliance, Mahindra Susten, L&T, and government agencies. Its software helps these clients analyze real-time, mission-critical data.

Enercomp grew its revenue from ₹3.1 crore in FY23 to ₹5.6 crore in FY24, staying profitable. It has already earned ₹4.2 crore in FY25 and holds a strong order book worth ₹9 crore.

So far, the startup has raised ₹6.9 crore and increased its valuation from ₹12.5 crore to ₹60 crore. The founding team still owns over 80.5% of the company, including a 4% ESOP pool.
