Dreamfly Innovations Raises Rs 3 Cr Venture Debt From SIDBI

Dreamfly Innovations, an energy-tech startup, has raised Rs 3 crore in non-dilutive venture debt from SIDBI. 

The funding will be used to meet working capital needs and expand manufacturing capacity as the company scales its operations.

Backed by Avaana Capital, Dreamfly Innovations designs and makes smart battery systems for drones, aviation, and aerospace. The startup is working on next-generation batteries, including lithium solid-state and graphene-based technologies, to offer higher energy density, better safety and improved heat management.

Its batteries use a proprietary thermal-case design and smart battery management systems to ensure reliable performance in high stress, mission critical conditions. This is especially important for drones and aerospace applications where safety and precision are critical.

Dreamfly follows a B2B, manufacturing-focused model, providing custom battery packs and power solutions to OEMs and enterprise clients. Its products are used in drones, defence projects, and new aerospace applications.

The startup earns revenue through long-term supply contracts, co-development partnerships, and repeat orders as customers expand their operations. With rising demand for high-performance energy storage in drones and advanced mobility, Dreamfly aims to be a domestic supplier of reliable, safe, and precise battery systems.

The venture debt from SIDBI is expected to boost Dreamfly’s operations and support its next stage of growth in India’s energy-tech and aerospace sectors.
