Defence Tech Startup Constelli Raises $3 Mn Funding

Aerospace and defense tech startup Constelli has raised $3 million in pre-Series A funding round led by Pravega Ventures.

The startup plans to use the fresh funds for capital expenditure and research and development (R&D) of new products.

Satya Gopal Panigrahi, cofounder and CEO at Constelli, said “We are excited to partner with Pravega Ventures as we continue to grow our business. This funding will propel our vision of establishing an Indian company becoming a global defense player. The support within the Indian ecosystem will help us accelerate our investments into niche technology areas and move forward towards that larger vision.”

About Constelli 

The Hyderabad-based defence-focussed deep-tech startup Constelli was founded in 2017 by Satya Gopal Panigrahi and Avinash Chenreddy, it focuses on creating digital signal processing solutions for the defense sector.

Using modeling, simulation and distributed computing, Constelli offers products like drone-based telemetry receivers (to collect important data from far-off places), electronic warfare testing tools (to simulate real-world scenarios) and a RADAR target echo simulator, among others.

In simple terms, Constelli’s products improve the software development process for electronic warfare systems used in both airborne and ground defense platforms.

The company’s clients include India’s Ministry of Defence, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), and defense contractors in South Korea, Australia and Singapore.
