ThinkMetal, a Deep- Tech startup has raised $800,000 in a pre-Series A funding round led by YourNest Venture Capital as part of the YourNest-SanchiConnect Velocity Program 2024.
The round also saw participation from Concept Communications and Sanchi Connect.
The startup plans to use the funds to finish preparing for production, launch its first product, improve its software, streamline its processes and grow its team in key areas like sales, operations, design and software development.

About ThinkMetal
Chennai-based ThinkMetal was founded in 2021 by Sabyasachi Ghosh and Arushi Sharma, it is a deep-tech startup helping manufacturers make metal parts faster and cheaper. Their compact 3D printer, SistemT1, is claimed to be 10 times faster and half the cost of traditional methods, using patented materials and processes. The company’s FuseX material technology greatly reduces production time and costs, making it a fast and efficient solution.
ThinkMetal solves long-standing problems in traditional tool manufacturing and low-volume production, allowing manufacturers to produce parts like molds, dies, jigs and fixtures in just a few hours at half the cost.
ThinkMetal’s current customers include Ants Ceramics, ZeQube Technologies and Hosur CNC. The company targets medium and small manufacturers in cities, using paid pilots, experience centers and on-demand services to encourage adoption.
