Deeptech Startup Contineu Raises $1.2 Mn Led By SenseAI Ventures

Contineu, an AI-based quality control for construction solutions platform, has raised $1.2 million in a seed funding round led by SenseAI Ventures along with participation from Piper Serica Angel Fund.

The startup plans to use the funds to build an AI-based data system for the construction industry that automates quality checks, ensures compliance, and improves visibility across sites.

About Contineu ai

Founded in 2023 by Harshil Naik and Kanao Ramesh, Contineu removes the need for manual data entry on construction sites by using helmet-mounted 360° cameras and 3D computer vision. 

The system captures visuals automatically and turns them into useful insights, starting with quality checks and documentation.

The company says its AI performs better than current standards, accurately spotting defects and non-compliance without human help.

Contineu is already working with early enterprise customers in India and abroad and sees growing interest in its product.

Its goal is to build an AI-powered data system for construction, helping global infrastructure companies make quicker, smarter decisions on-site.
