Deeptech IoT startup DATOMS secures Rs 25 crore Series A round

Indian industrial deeptech IoT startup DATOMS has raised Rs 25 crore (about $2.76 million) in a Series A funding round. The investment was led by Big Capital JSC.

The funding round also included participation from IvyCap Ventures. Existing investor YourNest Venture Capital also invested again in the company, showing continued support and confidence in DATOMS’ growth.

DATOMS had earlier raised ₹3.5 crore in a pre-Series A funding round last summer. This round included investment from Operators Studio and APT Research.

In earlier funding rounds, the company was also supported by existing investors such as Ridik Capital, Warmup Ventures, and BeyondSeed.

Founded in 2021 by NIT Rourkela alumni Amiya Samantaray, Asish Sahoo, Nataraj Sahoo, and Amrit Biswal, DATOMS works in the areas of industrial IoT, energy technology, and enterprise software. The company focuses on helping asset-heavy industries improve performance and efficiency.

DATOMS combines Industrial IoT, energy solutions, and enterprise SaaS to serve the global market for industrial digitalization and connected machines, which is valued at around $18 billion.
