Deeptech company Greentech raises Rs 30 crore from Transition VC

Wind turbine operations & maintenance firm GreenTech, has raised INR 30 crore in a funding round led by Transition VC.

The firm will use the funds to develop its infrastructure, including a turbine repair facility under construction in Coimbatore. Part of the funds will also go toward building inventory for new turbine models and expanding into international markets.

"As a one-stop solution for wind asset management, our focus is to maximise generation, protect asset integrity, improve reliability and deliver sustained value for asset owners,” said founder Daniel Raj. “As the renewable energy sector continues to expand, we are further strengthening our capabilities and broadening our operational footprint to support the clean energy transition.”

GreenTech provides a complete alternative to OEM-led operations and maintenance (O&M) services.

The company currently manages wind turbines with a total capacity of around 500 MW and plans to add another 200 MW over the next 18 months, mainly through expansion into international markets such as Southeast Asia, the MENA region, and Europe.

In India, GreenTech operates in all major windy states and also manages 40 MW of capacity in Sri Lanka.

Financially, the company has reported revenues of about ₹30 crore, growing at 65–70% annually. It aims to achieve over 100% year-on-year growth for the next five years.
