Cold-Pressed Oil Brand Gramiyaa Raises Rs 7.2 Cr Pre-Series A Funding

Bangalore-based Gramiyaa, a vertically integrated producer of cold-pressed oils, has raised Rs 7.2 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by Homegrown Ventures.

Other angel investors including Campus Fund and Mumbai Angels participated in this round.

The startup plans to use the funds to increase production to 4 lakh liters per month, improve sourcing, streamline manufacturing and strengthen distribution, including its D2C platform.

Previously, Gramiyaa raised $1.14 million in a seed round from Homegrown Ventures and others.

Founded in 2016 by Sibi Manivannan, Gramiyaa focuses on large-scale, high-quality production. By combining traditional wood and stone mills with modern, hygienic facilities, the brand ensures authentic extraction, safety and consistency. It reaches consumers through its D2C platform, retail stores, e-commerce and quick-commerce channels.

It offers wood-pressed oils like groundnut, sesame and coconut which it sells mainly in Tamil Nadu through independent stores and online.
