Cancer care startup Oncare has raised Rs 27 crore (around $4 million) in a Series A funding round led by Sky Impact Capital. Other investors in the round include Huddle Ventures, Lotus Herbal Group, SteerX, and Tremis Capital.

Earlier, Oncare had raised $1 million in a seed funding round led by Huddle Ventures and other investors.

The company will use the new funds to expand into metro cities as well as tier-II and tier-III cities.

It also plans to invest in technology to improve clinical operations, better coordinate patient care, and enhance the overall patient experience.

Founded in 2023, Oncare runs a cost-efficient cancer care model that focuses on providing standard and affordable treatment. It partners with accredited hospitals to offer medical, surgical, and radiation oncology services, while managing clinical quality, insurance support, and transparent pricing.

The company is targeting India’s growing cancer treatment market, which is expected to reach Rs 43,000 crore by FY28, growing at about 14% annually. Even though demand is rising, access to quality cancer care is still limited, with most facilities concentrated in large hospital networks.

Oncare’s partnership-based approach allows it to expand to new locations quickly without spending heavily on building its own infrastructure. This helps make treatment more accessible and affordable.

Since launching, the company has set up multiple centers across the Delhi-NCR region and has quickly gained patient trust and early clinical growth.

Investors said the platform reflects a shift toward scalable, single-specialty healthcare delivery models that combine operational efficiency with quality outcomes. Sky Impact Capital, which focuses on building specialised healthcare networks, expects the investment to support Oncare’s transition into a nationally distributed oncology platform.
