Brandworks Raises Additional $4 Mn Funding Led By From Roha Family Office

Brandworks Technologies, an electronics manufacturing startup has raised $4 Mn (nearly INR 38 Cr) as part of its extended Series A round led by Roha Family Office. 

The startup plans to use the new funds to speed up its global expansion and strengthen research and development (R&D) in areas like AI hardware, the Internet of Things (IoT), and connected devices. Part of the funds will also be used to grow its design, engineering, and operations teams to support future growth.

This comes after the startup raised $7 million in the first round from Cactus Partners and GVFL in August. With the latest funding, Brandworks has completed its Series A round at $11 million (₹97 crore).

“We have innovated a lot of home theaters for leading audio brands, charging solutions, power backups and GaN chargers, which are quite prevalent in the market now for leading brands. Now, we are also going to do exports in Europe for the same product lines,” said Nikita Kumawat, co-founder of Brandworks Technologies.

Founded earlier this year by Nikita Kumawat and Ishwar Kumar, the Mumbai-based Brandworks Technologies manufactures electronic hardware products such as audio wearables, charging devices, and payment devices. Its product range includes power banks, GaN (Gallium Nitride) chargers, mini soundbars, UPI soundboxes, PoS devices, dash cameras, and smart car mirrors, among others.

The startup says it partners with 40 brands as their R&D, design, and manufacturing collaborator.

Moving forward, the startup plans to establish a design and R&D centre in Taiwan to take advantage of the region’s expertise, talent, and experience in PCB design and product development. At present, Brandworks Technologies has a single R&D office in Bengaluru.
