US alternative asset manager Blackstone is leading a $1.2 billion (about Rs 10,867 crore) investment in cloud infrastructure startup Neysa. This would be the largest funding round ever in India’s AI sector.

Blackstone and Neysa said in a joint statement that the $1.2 billion funding will be divided equally between new equity and debt.

People familiar with the deal said Neysa has secured an enterprise valuation of $1.4 billion.
