Ayurvedic skincare brand indē wild has raised $5 million funding in a seed extension round led by Unilever Ventures, alongside SoGal Ventures and True Global Ventures.

indē wild plans to use the fresh funds to grow internationally and strengthen its position in the beauty industry. The company will focus on its current partnership with Sephora in the UK and its upcoming launch with the retailer in the US.

The company announced that Archit Vijoy, the exclusive financial advisor for this deal, has been appointed as the finance director at indē wild.

“Their (Unilever Ventures’) expertise and experience in the beauty space is second to none and with their deep understanding of consumer needs, innovative approach to clean beauty, and knowledge of what constitutes top-level business practices will allow indē wild to scale even faster in this rapidly evolving market,” said Oleg Büller-Khosla, CEO, indē wild.

About indē wild

Founded in 2021 by  Diipa Büller-Khosla, indē wild offers ayurvedic skincare and haircare products, including body serums, skin glow serums, bakuchiol serums, hair oil, and scalp serums. The company claims its products help with hyperpigmentation, reducing acne scars, restoring damaged skin, and more.

The company sold more than one unit per minute within 18 months of launching exclusively in India on Nykaa and its D2C platforms in the US and UK. It also reported a 400% growth in revenue.
