Amwoodo said it will use the new funds to expand production capacity for rising domestic and international demand, boost its D2C marketplace Ecoconscious, and launch new plastic-alternative brands.

Amwoodo raises $4 million in pre-seed round to scale its online business

Sustainable solutions startup Amwoodo has secured $4 million in its pre-Series A funding round led by existing investor Rainmatter.

The round also saw participation from Adventz Group, Thinkuvate, and Caspian. 

The startup said it will use the new funds to expand production capacity for rising domestic and international demand, boost its D2C marketplace Ecoconscious, and launch new plastic-alternative brands.

Before this funding round, the startup had raised $1 million from Rainmatter.
