AI-powered recruitment platform HireBound raises $2 million seed round

AI-powered recruitment platform HireBound has raised $2 million in a seed funding round led by Kalaari Capital. Other investors in the round include Antler, Infinyte Club, and CareerNet.

The Bengaluru-based startup will use the funds to improve its product, grow its sales and marketing efforts, and expand into global markets.

The company is aiming to increase its annual recurring revenue (ARR) by five times over the next 12 to 18 months.

HireBound was founded by Sharad Vij and Kumar Vikramaditya. The company has built an AI-powered recruitment platform that automates the entire hiring process. Its AI system manages sourcing, candidate engagement, screening, evaluation, and recommendations.

The company says it has handled more than 3 million conversations with candidates. Its system has been trained using over 2 million resumes and 30,000 job listings.

HireBound also connects with ATS and HRMS systems. It is used by staffing agencies and large companies to manage their hiring needs.
