AI film studio TakeTwo raises funding at Rs 100 Cr valuation

AI-native film studio TakeTwo has raised fresh capital at a valuation of Rs 100 crore in its pre-seed round.

The investment round saw participation from US-based Afore Capital, one of the world’s largest pre-seed venture firms, and Canada’s Inovia VC.

The company’s founders recently emerged from Y Combinator’s AI Startup School and have positioned the firm as a key technology partner for india’s film industry.

The startup plans to use the new funds to grow its tech infrastructure and expand its team of creative technologists.

"Our objective is to bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI research and the rigorous demands of professional cinema. This valuation is a testament to the immediate value we are providing to filmmakers who need to scale their visual ambitions without the constraints of traditional VFX timelines and budgets. With the support of Afore Capital and Inovia VC, we are poised to expand our technical and creative footprint across india and global markets," said Rudresh Upadhyaya, Cofounder & CEO of TakeTwo.

Founded in 2025 by Rudresh Upadhyaya and Raghav Katta, TakeTwo is an AI first film studio that combines advanced technology with cinematic storytelling. By using AI in professional film workflows, it helps directors create highquality visual content and complex VFX more quickly and efficiently. The startup aims to become a standard platform for AI-assisted filmmaking by handling complex creative work in the background.

The company operates as a full-stack studio, supporting directors and production houses with VFX-heavy scenes, stylised shots, and surreal environments at much lower costs than traditional methods. It blends AI with live-action footage and delivers outputs that easily fit into standard editing and colour-grading workflows.
