[Funding alert] Spiritual Tech Startup Rgyan raises $162K from HNI

Rgyan, an online spiritual community platform has raised an additional $162,000 in funding from Paris-based HNI.

The startup plans to use the funds to hire new talent and implement new product features that meet the daily devotional and spiritual needs of users.

With this funding round, the startup has raised a total of $362,000 in funding so far.

The Gurgaon-based Rgyan was founded in 2021 by Umesh Khatri and Devendar Agarwal, It is an online spiritual social community platform that lets users explore digital content and services in various categories like devotion, astrology, pilgrimage, wellbeing, art/society, mythology and more.

“The last 2 years have made people explore things digitally and we at Rgyan are committed towards providing a better digital experience to our audience for their devotional/spiritual needs thereby transforming the complete offline ecosystem to online through our community led platform.” Said, Umesh Khatri, Co-founder & CEO, Rgyan.

Rgyan, a product of SoulGuide (SoulGuide Digital Pvt Ltd) which was started in 2018 just as a blogging/classified platform, It has over 3,000 content articles listed through its website with three to four million annual active users.

In May 2022, Rgyan had raised $200K in Seed funding round from angel investors.
