Popular Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi has invested in cloud kitchen startup Curefoods.

And with this, Nora also becomes the brand ambassador of CakeZone the National Dessert Brand from the House of Curefoods.

With this investment, Nora Fatehi intends to take CakeZone to more cities, aligning with her expansion plans of setting up 125 stores by the end of 2022.

Commenting on the development, Nora Fatehi said, “No celebration is complete without a dessert. We are always hoping for that sweet ending both in life and with our meals. I believe in celebrating the finer things in life, the small moments, and CakeZone, with their offerings, make for the perfect culinary hot spot to add a little sweetness to those moments. I strongly believe in the promise of CureFoods and I’m thrilled to invest in them and endorse CakeZone. Together we hope to create a lasting impression; both on people’s lives and palates.”

The Bengaluru-based Curefoods was founded in 2020 by Ankit Nagori, It is India’s fastest growing operator of cloud kitchens in top 15+ cities in India.

This is the second time a Bollywood celebrity has endorsed CureFoods. Earlier, Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan made an undisclosed investment in CureFoods and also became the brand ambassador of his spin-off company, EatFit.

“Having Nora as an investor in Curefoods is a close integration and association with her. Her belief in our capabilities encourages us to further scale to greater heights,” said Ankit Nagori.

Recently it has also partnered with Hrithik Roshan’s HRX, and is looking to expand in India, especially in the North Indian market.

In June 2022, Curefoods had raised $50 million in its Series C funding round from a bunch of investors.
