[Funding News] Fresh Bus Raises INR 43.6 Cr In Series A Funding Round

Fresh Bus, a supplier of inter-state electric bus services based in Bengaluru, has successfully raised INR 43.68 Cr (about $5.3 Mn) in its Series A fundraising round.

According to regulatory filings, the company's board approved a special resolution to raise INR 43.68 Cr by issuing 2 equity shares and 63,825 Series A Compulsory Convertible Preference Shares at an issue price of INR 6,845 apiece.

The financing round seems to be in progress, and Fresh Bus is expected to obtain additional funds through Series A funding.

Fresh Bus asserts that its electric buses have soundless air-conditioned compartments, IOT-integrated live monitoring of air quality and temperature, surveillance cameras for security, individual charging stations, Wi-Fi connectivity, real-time location tracking, and alcohol testing.
