In 2020, the COVID 19 took our lives in a way we did not expect, it all started a year ago and we are still struggling with the difficult circumstances.
Many people have lost their friends and family due to this COVID 19. But even in this difficult time, some good people are coming forward to help others and one of them is Ananta.
Ananta a 21-year-old girl who lives in Karol Bagh has come forward to provide free coaching classes to those children who have lost either of their parents in COVID.
This is not the first time when she is providing free education to such children, she is doing this for the last 3 years (2018-2020). Her aim is, to do this at a large scale so that she can help as many of these children who have to suffer from the loss of their parents.
Ananta started this initiative because she knows how it feels when you lose your loved ones. She lost her mother, Archana Sharma, who was a PGT teacher in a government school. Her mother got infected with COVID due to which she died. After this incident, Ananta decided that she would help people who have gone through similar grief.
Ananta and her team of 20 teachers are capable of teaching to all the students from Nursery to 12th all Streams. Vocational Subjects, Foreign languages and Music. Some Graduation level courses too.
They have initiated this for COVID affected families. All they need to show and submit is a death certificate and the Aadhaar card/10th certificate of the child to verify the child's relationship with the person having a name on the death certificate.
In the beginning, there was no need for document requirements. But they have got calls from so many people who were misusing it. So they decided to verify and register the child.
Ananta said that if they get more teachers and support from the people/ NGO/ Government then they will start this initiative for the other children as well.
