[Funding News] Frammer AI Secures $2 Mn Seed Funding Round from Lumikai

Frammer AI, a media SaaS platform, has completed a $2 million seed round, which was led by venture capital firm Lumikai.

The funds will be utilized to strengthen Frammer’s technology team, expand into sports and entertainment, and improve data training in critical focal areas.

The organisation, which was established by former executives of NDTV, provides an AI-powered studio that enables businesses to transform their content into monetizable and engaging videos.

Suparna Singh, the former CEO-President of NDTV, Kawaljit Singh Bedi, the former CTO of NDTV, and Arijit Chatterjee, the former chief strategy officer of the television network, founded the Delhi-based firm.

Frammer AI assists businesses in the creation of high-quality, ready-to-publish videos for social media platforms by utilizing advanced AI technology and proprietary training methods. Large enterprises frequently necessitate a team of multiple individuals and hours of work to produce and distribute videos across social platforms, which is a time-consuming endeavor.

This process is streamlined by Frammer AI, which converts a 30-minute video into 35 short bundles in a mere five minutes. Frammer AI is capable of generating captions and transcripts for each video. It identifies the most captivating segments and transforms them into short-form videos that are optimised for a variety of digital platforms. The company stated that the platform is capable of producing vertical videos, such as YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels, to meet the demand for brief, captivating content that enables organizations to establish connections with their audiences and consumers.

The company employs proprietary training to ensure the accurate transcription of Indian languages, dialects, and mixed-language recognition. Furthermore, it instructs vision models to identify individuals, features, celebrities, logos, sentiment, and other comparable visual elements within video frames. This has allowed the company to become a leader in the conversion of horizontal video to vertical format and to increase publisher revenue through contextual and affiliate advertising.

Suparna Singh, CEO and Co-founder of Frammer AI, said: “The need for – and interest in – short-form video has never been higher.  We’re thrilled to hear from clients that Frammer is creating larger audiences for them by utilising all their videos to their fullest potential,”
