Fitness-focused weight management platform, Fitelo has raised $1.5 million in Pre series A funding round led by Guild Capital.

The round also saw participation from a few senior executives from Pareto Capital, Chaayos, and Country Delight.

Chandigarh-based Fitelo was founded in April 2019 by childhood friends, Sahil Bansal and Mehakdeep Singh, It helps people to achieve their fitness goals effectively and holistically.

The platform is a group of dietitians, doctors, nutritionists and fitness trainers. They aim to help their customers develop healthy habits.

The platform works on a subscription-based model and provides customers with a health coach who is tailored to their needs.

“The funds will accelerate our efforts to develop a global platform that focusses on a holistic and natural way of staying healthy, physically and mentally”, said, Sahil Bansal, Co-Founder & CEO, Fitelo.

Their customers can update and track progress in the app daily, including metrics such as diet, body measurements, activity and water intake. Their team also conducts regular counseling sessions as per the package of the client to ensure that overall nutrition and overall fitness are maintained while reducing weight.
