Fisdom Appoints Former SBI Executive Girish Venkat as Head Wealth Management

Fisdom, a wealthtech startup based in Bengaluru, has appointed Girish Venkat as the head of its wealth management division.

Girish Venkat takes up the responsibility from Anand Dalmia, the co-founder of Fisdom who previously managed this firm.

In his previous position, Venkat was in charge of the wealth management section at State Bank of India. Before that, he had worked for Aditya Birla Capital and ICICI Bank.

Fisdom operates a wealth management approach by collaborating with 15 prominent banks in India, including various public sector institutions. The firm, supported by PayU, provides a range of financial services including mutual funds, stock broking, portfolio management, unlisted private equity, bonds, structured products, insurance, and tax management.

Fisdom boasts a team of over 120 wealth managers stationed in 25 different locations, including 12 offices throughout India. These professionals are dedicated to catering to the needs of the company's affluent clientele. The company intends to expand the network to cover several cities during the next 12 months.
