First Coffee, a specialty coffee brand, has secured $1.2 million in its seed round, which was led by BEENEXT.
Ashish Gupta (Helion Venture Partners), AngelList India, Dr. Ritesh Malik (founder of Innov8), Sahil Malik (founder of Da Milano), Chandini Purnesh (Owner of Harley Coffee Estate), Aman Arora (co-Founder, Board of Keventers), Agastya Dalmia (director of Keventers), Aman Bahel (Apex Group), Nakul Dev Chawla (Art Mumbai), and Dr. Shriram Nene were also involved in the round.
The company stated in a press release that the proceeds will be allocated to the expansion of the company and the expansion of its premium specialty coffee experience to additional locations throughout the nation. First Coffee’s objective is to increase its store presence in critical urban locations throughout New Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) as well as tier I cities in North India.
The primary concentration of First Coffee will be on small-format QSR outlets located in high-traffic areas, including malls, corporate parks, high streets, and metros. By the second quarter of the upcoming fiscal year, the organization intends to establish 35 stores throughout the nation. Additionally, the funds will be allocated to the recruitment of personnel and the enhancement of marketing initiatives.

First Coffee combines premium coffee with a new consumer experience, culture, and design. It establishes a retail paradigm that is technology-driven by combining experiential big data with AI-powered analysis.
First Coffee asserts that its coffee is sustainably sourced and of premium quality, achieved through the use of shade-grown coffee and eco-friendly methods such as traditional insect traps and man-made reservoirs for irrigation.
