Fintech startup Perfios has raised Rs 520.8 crore (around $70 million) in Series C funding round led by existing investors Warbug Pincus and Bessemer India. The Bengaluru-based Fintech platform became the 10th unicorn of 2022.
The funding will be used for financing the acquisition of other companies, capital expenditure, and working capital requirements, Perfios said in its regulatory filings.
Founded in 2009, by V R Govindarajan and Debasish Chakraborty, Perfios is a leading product technology company enabling businesses to aggregate structured and unstructured data, curate, analyze and help in decision-making.
News website Inc42 reported the story first and said that the company’s valuation was over $2 billion. An email sent to Perfios did not elicit an immediate response. The startup claims to have a global presence in 18 countries including South Africa, Ireland, Czech Republic, UAE, Bangladesh, Indonesia, among others.
Perfios’ product offerings help companies build vertical applications across various domains. In over nine years, Perfios has acquired 100+ large clients across various domains such as Banks, NBFCs, Digital Lending platforms, Mutual Fund Companies, Insurance companies, Human Resources etc both in India and abroad.
