Kidbea, a kids' apparel line made of bamboo, has secured $1 million in capital through a pre-series A round-headed by Venture Catalysts, an early-stage investment group.

Agility Ventures, BestVantage Investments, and Hiro Mizushima, a renowned Japanese actor, were among the individuals involved in the investment round, in addition to Sandeep Agarwal, Upasana Agarwal, the founders of Droom, and Ashok Bahadur.

"The funding signifies a major milestone in our journey to turn Kidbea into a Rs 500 crore brand within the next 3 years. This funding provides us with the means to improve our sustainable offerings, extend our global presence, and persist in redefining children's fashion," said Swapnil Srivastav, cofounder of Kidbea.

Kidbea plans to enhance operations, grow its workforce, and accelerate its advertising and promotional campaigns with the help of the investment. Furthermore, a deliberate fraction of the cash would go into science and technology research & development.

Kidbea's innovative approach and dedication to quality align with the changing expectations of mindful consumers," Apoorva Ranjan Sharma, co-founder, and Managing Director of Venture Catalysts, said.
