Even Healthcare, a healthcare firm, has successfully secured Rs 169 crore (equivalent to nearly $20 million) in a recent funding round, with Khosla Ventures leading the investment. The Bengaluru-based firm has received new capital after a hiatus of 20 months.
The Even board has approved a resolution to offer 2,17,589 preference shares at an issue price of Rs 7,762 apiece, with the aim of raising Rs 169 crore or $20 million.
Khosla Ventures spearheaded the funding round with an investment of Rs 83.4 crore or $10 million, while Pathfinder and Mercury Fund contributed Rs 21.3 crore and Rs 26.9 crore, respectively. Simon Fiduciaria, DLB Ventures, Lex Italia, 8 VC, Rainmatter fintech, and other investors collectively contributed the remaining funds.
Healthcare company has increased its employee stock option (ESOP) pool, incorporating additional options that have resulted in a total pool size of 135,000, as stated in a separate resolution submitted by the company.

Even provides subscription-based plans that encompass the expenses of diagnostics, consultations, and hospitalization up to Rs 50 lakh. The company exclusively collaborates with hospitals that ensure the provision of care to its members in return for a regular payment.
Even delivers tailored managed care programs and offers Even cards, which may be utilized for bill payments at its partner hospitals and laboratories. Even asserts its superiority to medical insurance by offering unlimited outpatient department (OPD) consultations and diagnostics.
