Ed-tech Platform QwikSkills has raised Rs 3.85 crore in its Seed funding round from Indian Angel Network (IAN), along with other investors.

The startup has also used the funds to strategize and acquire the B2B2C segment with corporates, various educational institutions, universities, and colleges with a vision to expand into the global markets of India and Europe, Americas, Asia-Pacific, and South-east Asia.

The Gurugram-based QwikSkills was founded in 2020 by Varun Mahajan and Harit Verma, it is a subscription-based practice platform that provides monthly and annual packages for users to practice cloud computing and meet the challenges of the tech industry.

Further to bridge the technical skills gap, it provides customized practice solutions for students and technical professionals to acquire cloud skills and develop their overall technical skills.

“With this investment, we are looking to enhance our current offerings and expand into enterprise & B2B corporate model. We currently have hands-on cloud labs for AWS, Azure, and GCP. Moving forward, we’ll be expanding our offerings into VMWare, Salesforce, Alibaba, Huawei, IBM, and OpenStack for hands-on skilling”, said, Varun Mahajan, Co-Founder of QwikSkills.

It aims to achieve the idea of ​​democratizing knowledge and making cloud skilling and practice accessible and affordable to all. The startup is striving to transform the industry and is emerging as the primary option for students and technical staff to learn and practice TestCloud and other technical certification exams.
