Edtech platform Jackett has raised $1 million in its seed funding round from Forge Ventures, Entrepreneur First, and Epic Angels Network.
The round also saw participation from other angel investors like Carousell co-founder Siu Rui Quek and OnLoop’s Projjal Ghatak.
The startup plans to use the funds to improve its operating system and enter emerging markets.

The Singapore-based Jackett was founded by Charlotte Joy Trudgill and Rachiket Arya in early this year, It is a web-based learning application that creates next generation tools for teachers, bringing the power of adaptive learning and data into the classroom to enable a personalized learning experience for each student.
“Jackett was born out of a problem faced by teachers and education institutions around the world: teachers are forced to spend too much time on administration and not enough doing the things that truly help students thrive. Education has reached an inflection point where new technologies can help enhance the teaching process, reduce the administrative burden, and ultimately create a better and more personalised learning experience for students, at scale. The edtech platform claims that teachers have used its services to create over 50,000 assessment questions for students in India, helping them save an estimated 7,000 hours.
