Edtech startup Saarthi Pedagogy has raised Rs 16 crore in pre-series A funding round from Pinnacle Investments.
The startup plans to use the funds to boost products, ramp up teams across technology and content creation, as well as to expand its sales footprint.
Last year in August, Saarthi has raised $1 million in its first seed funding round from JITO Angel Network, LetsVenture, Ecosystem Ventures, among other investors.
“We look forward to building a sustainable and capital-efficient Edtech business that will truly impact the lives of millions of students studying in affordable schools in India,” said Sushil Agrawal, Founder, and CEO of Saarthi Pedagogy.
Ahmedabad-based startup was founded in 2015 by Sushil Agrawal, Saarthi is a B2B Edtech company that provides a tech platform for all segments of K-12 education.
They offer unique products and provide teacher training programs to improve teaching or teaching methods.
The company said in a statement that Saarthi has seen significant success and has catered to around 850 schools and 85,000 students and is expected to sign up 2,000 schools and 2,00,000 students for the academic year 2022-23. It served around 220 schools in the academic year 2021-22.
