Cleantech firm EcoRatings raised $1 million (INR 8.3 crore) in grants and stock from a variety of investors, including We Founder Circle, 888 VC, Vinners, Indigram Labs Foundation, and Google.
The funds will go towards adding multi-modal features, expanding the quantity of tokens, and acquiring paid data sources.

EcoRatings platform processes contextually relevant data from both internal and external sources, analysing large datasets to deliver exact answers and turning insights into real-time chat responses.
The startup states that it has more than fifty paying customers. Its unique selling proposition is that it is a huge language model tailored to a particular domain, much as ChatGPT but specialised for the sustainability domain.
Aditi Balbir, co-founder, EcoRatings, said: “Our Gen AI platform is a solution for organisations striving to meet their sustainability goals. With the new investment, we look forward to further work on our large language model specific to the sustainability domain.”
