A battery tech start-up E-TRNL announced that they are raising a pre-seed round of Rs 7.5 Crs from multiple investors. This, according to the company, will help him bring his revolutionary energy technology mission to market.
The round was led by Speciale Invest, a deep-tech venture capital firm. Other investors include Micelio Mobility, a clean mobility fund, and CIIE, the innovation continuum built at IIM Ahemdabad, as per reported by CXOtoday.
e-TRNL Energy intends to utilize this investment to accelerate the product cycle reducing the time-lines to deliver the products to its customers. This company developed and patented very advanced battery technology. Which is very safe and energy efficient, it also withstands harsh electrical conditions with fast charging, especially in the Indian climate.

Founded by Apoorva Shaligram and Dr. Uttam Kumar Sen, e-TRNL Energy is an Indian start-up company in the energy storage space.

e-TRNL Energy is working on a fundamental battery cell technology that is chemistry agnostic and can adopt all present Li-ion and future Na-ion chemistries. The technology offers battery cells with higher energy density and lower heating compared to its peers, with better pricing economics.
