Dubdub.ai, a business creating AI-based web applications, stated that it has raised $1 million in a seed fundraising round headed by Waveform Ventures and Accel Atoms, with active participation from Slash Capital and Force Ventures.
A number of angel investors participated in the funding round, including Aprameya Radhakrishna, the founder of Koo, Nishant Mungali, the creator of Mindtickle, Deepak Anchala, the creator of Slintel, Swati Mohan, the former head of marketing at Netflix, Gaurav Kapur, the host and actor, and Roshan Abbas, the actor, director, and founder of Kommune.
Rahul Sankhwar, Anubhav Singh, Anchal Jaiswal, and Rahul Garg co-founded the startup. Dubdub.ai, an AI-based web platform, was established in August 2021 and enables audio/video dubbing in more than 50 languages without the need for linguistic competence, making dubbing simpler, quicker, and more affordable.
The business plans to use the financing to expand the technological know-how of the team, improve the platform’s functionality and offers, and gather and validate a variety of case studies from across the world.
MPL, Gameskraft, OkCredit, Fincare Bank, Rusk Media, and Reliance Nippon Insurance are a few of Dubdub’s clients.
