In a seed investment round headed by India Accelerator and including participation from other angel investors, drone-tech firm IG Drones has raised $1 million.
According to an IG Drones press statement, the funds will be utilized to further research and development with an emphasis on developing cutting-edge drone systems for defense applications.

According to Delhi-based IG Drones, it has collaborated with the Indian Army, many state governments, and more than 100 major corporations to carry out more than 500 projects. It also introduced the “IG Military Simulator,” the country’s first simulator created in-house.
Bodhisattwa Sanghapriya and Om Prakash co-founded IG Drones in 2018, providing drone-based services for mapping, inspection, and surveying. Ideaforge and Drona Aviation are two companies that IG Drones may face direct or indirect competition from.
