The funding will be used to support the business’ expansion plans. During the next three years, the eyecare company expects to use these funds to increase its present chain of more than 150 locations to over 300 locations, as reported by Bwdisrupt.com.

Along with investing in cutting-edge vision correction technologies like SMILE and laser cataract surgery, Dr Agarwal will also concentrate on technology made to treat vitreo-retinal conditions like diabetic retinal disease and macular degeneration caused by age.
The CEO of Dr Agarwals Group of Eye Hospitals, Dr. Adil Agarwal, stated that this funding will catapult the business into its next phase of expansion, which will include the acquisition of smaller medical facilities and chains and growing its footprint through new initiatives. The objective is to expand aggressively in places like Maharashtra, Punjab, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh while also improving their position in their current areas to double their network.
