DigiCert Appoints Atri Chatterjee as Chief Marketing Officer

Atri Chatterjee joins DigiCert from ForgeRock, where he spent five years serving as CMO until the $2.3B acquisition by Thoma Bravo and subsequent merger with Ping Identity.

Leading global provider of digital trust, DigiCert, announced that Atri Chatterjee has been appointed as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

As CMO, Chatterjee will lead the global marketing organization to promote the DigiCert brand, including the development and execution of the company’s digital trust initiatives and campaigns, while partnering closely with the sales and product organizations to drive revenue.

Atri Chatterjee comes to DigiCert from ForgeRock, where he was the CMO for five years prior to Thoma Bravo’s $2.3 billion acquisition of the company and its merger with Ping Identity.

Atri Chatterjee oversaw the go-to-market strategy at ForgeRock, which helped the business almost quadruple its yearly recurring revenue in just five years and become one of the top providers of identity and access management solutions for businesses. Prior to joining ForgeRock, Chatterjee worked as a CMO for Act-On Software, a supplier of SaaS marketing automation and revenue optimisation, and Zscaler, a leader in worldwide cloud security. Additionally, he has held senior marketing positions with multinational B2B security technology firms such as McAfee, Symantec, VeriSign, and CipherTrust.
