One of the first commercial companies in the nation to receive permission from the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre (IN-SPACe) to offer ground stations as a service (GSaaS) is spacetech firm Dhruva Space.

According to the Hyderabad-based firm, the permission will enable it to provide vital ground support, enabling real-time satellite communication and control, and will greatly increase its ground segment offers.

It added that its proven track record in low-bit rate connectivity missions will give a considerable edge to this GSaaS offering. This represents a significant development in its capacity to commercially serve a wide range of space operations efficiently and effectively.

This IN-SPACe authorisation empowers Dhruva Space to offer critical ground support, enabling real-time satellite communication and control. This commercial capability ensures reliable data transmission, enhances mission flexibility, and reduces operational costs.
