[Funding alert] D2C Beauty Brand NutriGlow Raises funding in series A round

Skincare and cosmetics brand NutriGlow has raised undisclosed amount in series A funding round from Thrasio-style venture G.O.A.T Brand Labs.

The startup plans to use the funds for development of its infrastructure, research and development (R&D) of new product ranges and expanding its existing human resource capacity.

As part of its expansion plans, the brand is also planning to invest in setting up a non-human intervention facility in Greater Noida.

The Noida (UP) based NutriGlow was founded in 2011 by Ashish Aggarwal,  It offers affordable luxury within the skincare, haircare and personal care domains through its range of nearly 200 scientifically formulated natural products.

It claims to manufacture beauty products that have sustainable packaging, natural and certified organic ingredients, and vegan-friendly, paraben-free formulations.

The startup’s products are available on its website and e-commerce platforms including Amazon, Flipkart and Nykaa.

“Beauty today is not just a luxury but a necessity. Consumers nowadays are looking for innovation and price sincerity along with obvious basic expectations to be met in efficacy-based skincare products. Together with our customers, we are creating a whole new universe where beauty is affordable, sensible and sustainable for the environment at the same time”, said, Ashish Aggarwal, Co-Founder, NutriGlow.

The beauty brand is also planning to launch new verticals and expand its product portfolio.

Recently, G..O.A.T Brand Labs, a house of D2C brands had raised $50 million in its Series A funding round from Winter Capital, 9Unicorns, Venture Catalysts, Vivriti Capital and Oxyzo.
