Rathi is making her 12-year comeback to Flipkart. He spent more than seven years working with Swiggy's parent company, Walmart, Snapdeal, and Swiggy before leaving as SVP of revenue and growth. In September of last year, he joined Jupiter.

Since the departure of Ayyappan R, a seasoned Flipkart employee, Cleartrip has been operating without a chief executive. Aditya Agarwal, the chief financial officer (CFO), left after him.

Five to seven percent of Flipkart's workforce saw layoffs as a result of the company's performance-based reduction initiatives, which affected all verticals and included vice presidents of engineering and product.

Flipkart was getting ready to return to India from Singapore as its headquarters. The change is related to its ultimate objective of going public (IPO).
