[Funding alert] ClearFeed Secures $2.7 Mn Seed Funding Led by Peak XV accelerator Surge

In a seed funding round led by Peak XV Partners’ (previously Sequoia Capital India & SEA) accelerator programme Surge, ClearFeed secured $2.7 million.

According to a statement, 8VC was one of the additional investors who took part in the round. The business stated that it would use the additional funds for the development of products and expanding its go-to-market divisions.

“Customer service support and communication within organizations is undergoing a rapid transformation, particularly with the significant volume of conversations occurring on platforms like Slack daily. Sifting through these conversations and requests can be time-consuming and unproductive for organizations. ClearFeed is a platform that can elevate the customer service experience and streamline work discussions efficiently. We’re thrilled to embark on the next phase of our growth, fueled by the fresh funds, as we look to introduce more product features,” said Joydeep Sen Sarma, Co-Founder of ClearFeed.

ClearFeed has also introduced OpenAI’s most advanced system, GPT-4, to index product documentation, knowledge bases, and wikis, automatically generate answers to user queries, and help agents find the right resources. Customers reported 30%+ of queries resolved automatically by ClearFeed’s GPT-Powered Answering system in early trials.

ClearFeed tracks and escalates Slack and Microsoft Teams customer and employee requests using AI models. Service teams can easily track and respond, maximising efficiency, and departments can seamlessly interact.

“We use ClearFeed at Teleport’s 100+ slack channels in our community workspace. It’s a must-have for any company supporting customers in Slack,” said Alexander Klizhentas, Chief Technology Officer of Teleport.

In September 2021, Ankit Jain, Joydeep Sen Sarma, and Lalit Indoria founded ClearFeed in the United States and India.
