Cleantech firm Accacia, which focuses on real estate, has raised $6.5 million (about INR 54 crore) in a Pre-Series A fundraising round led by Illuminate Financial. Participating in the round are current investors Accel and B Capital, as well as AC Ventures.
Acacia.ai is a platform specifically created for the real estate and infrastructure industries that enables businesses to manage emissions at the asset and portfolio levels while fully taking organisational boundaries as outlined by the GHG Protocol into account.

"We have already deployed our solution to over 25 million sq ft of real estate," said Annu Talreja, founder and CEO of Accacia.
Customers may evaluate and compare transitional concerns on their investment portfolios according to the platform, and decarbonisation methods are suggested at both asset and portfolio levels via an AI-enabled prediction engine.
The business claims that their technology platform automates ongoing information monitoring and collection by integrating with current energy, and property management platforms.
