Aswani Chaitanya has been appointed as the Vice President of Investments for Capital A, a venture fund for early-stage ventures. He will make investments and develop Capital A’s portfolio management team in his new position.
Aswani worked at Wipro, Deutsche Bank, and Goldman Sachs for over 15 years. Timios, a kid-friendly snack brand, raised money from big investors in his entrepreneurial debut. After scaling the venture, he sold controlling stakes to join Capital A, as per reported by BW Disrupt.

Sharing his views, Ankit Kedia, Founder and Lead Investor, Capital A said, “Aswani will lead Capital A’s portfolio management and I am confident of him being able to contribute towards building a more resilient and growth-oriented startup ecosystem in India.”
Capital A is always there to work alongside these passionate people, not above them, to help them succeed. Its aspiration is to either lead the round or be in the game as co-investors. Nothing less suffices. The fund is led by Ankit Kedia, a former promoter of Manjushree Technopack Ltd., the largest manufacturer of rigid plastic packaging in the entire South Asia region. The company was divested to Advent International in 2018.
