M2P FinTech and Bureau, a fraud detection platform, have teamed to improve digital transaction fraud protection measures through the use of behavioral biometrics.

With the agreement, clients will have better protection against new fraud tendencies, which is a major advancement in the field of digital security. By utilizing the integrated solution of Bureau and M2P Fintech, banks and fintech businesses may authenticate users and devices prior to a financial transaction, thereby proactively reducing fraud risks and guaranteeing a secure and seamless user experience.

This collaboration is relevant as financial institutions want to transition from outdated OTP verification techniques to stronger security protocols. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has recently encouraged a move towards app-based approvals and biometric verification by promoting "inherence-based" transaction authentication.

Bureau and M2P Fintech hope to offer a proactive approach to fraud prevention by pooling their respective areas of expertise. Their technology offers improved protection against new fraud patterns by validating the legitimacy of the user and the device before a transaction is finalized.

By year's end, M2P and Bureau want to have tracked and evaluated more than 100 million transactions.
